First Thursday Music Night in the Irish Pub

August 4th, 2016 - Thursday
The two beloved musical and singing groups; The Blue Rock Boys and Easter Rising have select members who joined together in developing a great entertaining sound called the Blue Egg. Fun for all ages. Held monthly. Free Entry. 7pm.

Pub Night with Mick & Friends

August 18th, 2016 - Thursday
Join Tenor Mick McEvilley and friends in the Irish Pub Room as they share Irish songs, poetry, stories, and friendships old and new. Feel free to get up to the open mic and share a ditty of your own! 7pm.

Schools for the City Exhibit - Opening Party

September 8th, 2016 - Thursday
After opening, viewing in the music room on Thursdays 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Fridays 12:00 to 4:00 PM, and Saturdays 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Closing on 15 October. Opening Party is Free and runs 7-9pm.

Members Annual Picnic

September 16th, 2016 - Friday
In the Garden - Chicken and Brats - plus delicious sides. Complimentary for all members with your reservation and membership card 2016. Friends and family who are not members can attend with reservation at a cost of $12 for adults - $7 for children Reservations required. Call 513-533-0100. 5:30pm

After the picnic stay for the great Eunan McIntyre Concert held in our Air Conditioned Center 7pm. Book your seat when you call in for the picnic. Another great Irish evening at the IHC!

Irish Musician and Singer from Donegal Ireland, Eunan McIntyre

September 16th, 2016 - Friday
Musician Eunan McIntyre is an award winning singer/songwriter from Glencolmcille in County Donegal, Ireland, he is traveling for the first time to Cincinnati to perform at Ohio's Irish Heritage Center, 3905 Eastern Avenue, Cincinnati, 45226.- His performance is on Friday, 16 September, 2016 at 7:00 PM. Call for more information 513-533-0100. Cost is $25 on the day of the concert, $20 pre-paid for members, $23 for non-members. 7pm.

Eunan is known for his amazing vocal ability and his guitar skills. He has performed with many Irish greats such as Sean Keane and the Wolfe Tones ( both Irish favorites performed at the Irish Center of Cincinnati), Sean Cannon from the Dubliners, Daniel O'Donnell and many more. County Donegal, sits at the northwest tip of the island of Ireland, and the County is known for its castles, rugged coastlines and mountains. Many fantastic musicians hail from this area, including Enya, who comes from the family band Clanndad.

The evening will start when the Irish Pub opens at 6:00 PM featuring Irish & craft beers, favorite whiskeys, snacks, and sandwiches, followed by the concert at 7:00 pm. The evening will continue with a meet-and-greet "After's" event in the Irish Pub during which Eunan will sign purchased CDs of his music and greet one and all. Bring your instrument and best voice - song and merriment will follow, and as the Irish say it will be great craic (fun). Hear a bit of his vocals and music on at

SAVE THE DATE - Green Tie Affair

November 5th, 2016 - 6pm
This is the annual fundraiser for the IHC. In past years we have had wonderful support at this event filled with friendship, great entertainment, wonderful silent auction, raffles, and delicious Irish Food. This year’s theme is "Irish in Cincinnati" and answers the questions: Who are we?, and What makes us special?

NEW Service! Child Watch

If you would like to see the play and your child is with you, take advantage of our Child Watch in the Dance Room. Parents, members of IHC and audience members are eligible to participate in this opportunity. You can be at the event and have the children near. Call the center for more details, organized by the young parent members of the IHC. This is available by pre-reservation for performances on special dates. Call 513-533-0100 for more details.
