Thirst - The Delightful Irish One Act Comedy

Saturday September 6th at 1:30 and Sunday Sept 7th at 12:45 P.M. - WASHINGTON PARK
Washington Park Main Stage, free admission. Featuring the Irish American Theater Company.


Bodhran and Irish Language Classes Begin Sept. 16th!

Tuesdays at 7:00 P.M.
Classes will run 8 weeks and are $95 for the public, and $80 for members, payable prior to the first class. Non-refundable Registration Fee of $20 required to hold a place, to be deducted from tuition when balance of fee is paid. Call 513-533-0100 for more information and to register.


Pub Night with Mick & Friends

Loads of fun - bring your favorite song, poem, story or instrument to share. Or just come for the great time. Free admission.


Member Picnic

September 20th, 2014 - Saturday at 6:30 P.M.
Members, we are very thankful for your support. Please call in with your picnic reservations as soon as possible, and, be sure to have you 2014 membership card in hand. The Smokin' Irish Bar-B-Q is back by popular demand. There is no charge for the members picnic dinner. REMEMBER --Reservations are required.

NOTE: If you forgot to renew your membership or if you would like to become a new member please call; 513-533-0100. Members have many perks including; free geneology, discounts on tickets for concerts, theater, classes, film nights, Exhibits,Library lending, rentals (weddings-family celebrations-parties-meetings) free St Patricks Day and Parade Day entry and more. This amazing Irish group are favorites with local musicians, and of those who attended last years fabulous evening! The band is excited to return to the IHC to see all their friends here & meet new ones! This is the most requested band out of all who have played at the IHC!!

$20 members, $22.50 non-members, $25.00 at the door.


The Boys of St. Columb's

September 27th, 2014 - Saturday at 6:00 P.M.
Irish author Maurice Fitzpatrick introduces his work, then screens the film and answers questions about it thereafter. $10 Members, $12 Public

The Boys of St. Columb's consists of interviews with Nobel Prize winners, writers, diplomats, musicians and a socialist campaigner. The eight figures who make up this oral history are Bishop Daly, John Hume, Seamus Heaney, Seamus Deane, Phil Coulter, Eamonn McCann, Paul Brady and James Sharkey. These interviewees, as well as being world figures, are also sharply insightful. They form as fine an example as exists of the watershed in Irish history brought about by educational overhaul.

Black 47 will be performing at IHC on Thursday October 9 at 7:00 P.M. as part of their "Farewell Tour." As you may know, the band has decided to disband in November 2014. We are extremely fortunate to be included in their farewell tour. Don’t miss your opportunity to see this legendary band!

NEW Service! Child Watch

If you would like to see the play and your child is with you, take advantage of our Child Watch in the Dance Room. Parents, members of IHC and audience members are eligible to participate in this opportunity. You can be at the event and have the children near. Call the center for more details, organized by the young parent members of the IHC. This is available by pre-reservation for performances on special dates. Call 513-533-0100 for more details.

Lots to do to create this amazing center of Irish Heritage. Your contributions will make a difference from filing, sweeping to painting, plumbing, staging -- there is a spot for each and everyone.
