Volunteer Needs & Information
January 1st, 2011 UPDATE
Dear Volunteers,
We will took our break and started back to work on January 6th, Thursday but most of you didn’t get the word!! There are several project opportunities to complete in January, and volunteer days will be both on Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 9 A.M. and going until 3:00 P.M. Saturday we had an even dozen, but we could use twice that number.
Daytime on Wednesdays, we are still hoping to have the Tea room open for Tea and snacks - continue to watch the web for this.
Saturdays we are starting the Children's Irish Dance and Art Classes at 11AM and at quarter past noon. Bring your kids or grandkids and do a couple of hours of volunteer work while they learn about your Heritage! Everybody Wins!

If you are not yet a member of the Irish Center kindly consider becoming one and getting friends and family to sign up. This is how we cover some of the rather extensive operating costs. You can imagine with your home or apt heating bills what it costs to run such a large building. Members get discounts, special perks, meet and greets, newsletters and a great participation in our Irish Heritage Development.
